For decades, the National Kidney Foundation Golf Classic has been the premier amateur golf event for charity, with nearly 100 tournaments across the country culminating in national championship finals in Pebble Beach, California.
Now there's a second way for golfers to support the NKF - Kidney Clubs. Golfers can clean out their closets, garages, car trunks or lockers and send the clubs in for a tax deductible donation that will convert gently used golf clubs in good working condition to life-saving kidney education, detection and treatment programs.
Golfers simply go to www.kidneyclubs.org where they'll quickly find the fair market donation value for their clubs as determined by the PGA.com Value Guide, the National Standard for Golf Club Values™ , and they'll be able to print out UPS shipping labels to ship their clubs in. Funds raised through golf club donations will go to the National Kidney Foundation.
