TAX NOTE: END OF YEAR IS APPROACHING
THE IRS DEFINES DATE OF DONATION AS THE DATE THE TITLE IS SIGNED OVER TO THE CHARITY.
IF YOU DONATE YOUR VEHICLE WITHIN THE 2004 CALENDAR YEAR AND YOU SIGN YOUR TITLE OVER ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 31, 2004 THE DONATION WILL QUALIFY FOR YOUR 2004 TAXES AND WILL NOT BE SUBJECT TO THE NEW TAX RULES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2005. WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT THE VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PICKED UP BY DECEMBER 31 TO BE DEDUCTED ON YOUR 2004 TAXES.
