Volunteer Week
Ways to Volunteer:
- This is a great week to get your Kidney Walk Team started! Ask friends, family and co-workers to join your team. Individual goals are usually around $100. Fundraising can be as simply is throwing a party and asking a cover charge, having a bake sale, selling blow pops, or organizing a charity night at a local restaurant.
- Join the Kidney Walk Committee! If you have great ideas you’d like to implement and love getting hands-on experience with fundraisers, then the Walk Committee is the thing for you.
- Volunteer at a KEEP Screening in your area! Our free kidney health screenings (KEEP) are a major part of what we do to give back to those who need it. Contact Charissa Cook, ccook@nkfk.org to participate and/or volunteer for an upcoming KEEP Screening.
- There are countless non-profit organizations in need of a helping hand. Contact the Metro United Way, 502.589.4259, to find out how you can get involved as a volunteer.
Contact Abby Johnston to get involved with volunteer activities with the NKFK.
